Barnes Logistics’ experienced team has maintained commercial vehicles for fleet operators in the North West and north Midlands for over 20 years.

Keeping fleets reliable, safe and compliant, our mechanics check and repair all types of commercial vehicles, including trucks between 7.5 tonnes and 44 tonnes, trailers, and even cement mixers.

Barnes Logistics’ wide-ranging services include:

  • Brake testing (roller testing and mobile testing)
  • Brake adjustment using a brake lathe to fix issues and extend service life

All services are designed to ensure that fleet operators meet DVSA standards and UK roadworthiness legislation.

DVSA-approved R2C software is used so that our customers receive a roadworthiness certificate as soon as the safety inspection is completed. The R2C system can create maintenance schedules up to ten years in advance!

How often should my commercial vehicles be checked and serviced?

Recommended service intervals can vary based on the type of vehicle, its age, and the nature of its usage.

Brake checks may be required every six weeks.
